Europe Civil Security forum

Watchbird at Europe Civil Security Forum

Watchbird will participate in the upcoming Europe Civil Security Forum in Warsaw — a key platform for discussing modern civil protection challenges and solutions in the context of European and global security. The forum is organized by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and partners, with support from the European Commission under the European Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM).

This year’s forum places particular focus on Ukraine’s experience in civil protection during conflict, and aims to strengthen international cooperation, preparedness, and innovation in civil defense and first responder support.

Watchbird’s Goals & Expectations:

  • Showcase the SAFEgaiter: Present the SAFEgaiter as a dual-use respiratory protection device ideal for civil defense, emergency services, fire departments, and post-disaster cleanup teams.

  • Connect with Authorities: Engage with key stakeholders from the EU, Ukraine, NATO countries, and civil protection agencies to explore collaboration and testing opportunities.

  • Explore Test Program Initiatives: Launch discussions on initiating donation-based pilot programs to deploy SAFEgaiter with Ukrainian first responders, with a roadmap toward localized production in Ukraine.

  • Learn from Ukraine’s Experience: Gain insights from Ukraine’s large-scale civil response to war — focusing on resilience, law adaptation, grassroots initiatives, and cross-sector collaboration.

  • Reinforce Dual-Use Potential: Emphasize SAFEgaiter’s relevance not only in defense scenarios but also in peacetime construction, demolition, and emergency response where hazardous airborne exposure is a growing concern.

Why It Matters:
This event underscores the need for scalable, pragmatic innovations that can protect civil populations and first responders in volatile environments. SAFEgaiter is part of that future — providing protection against dangerous air particles such as asbestos, silica, smoke, and chemical residues.

Watchbird’s presence in Warsaw highlights our commitment to bridging technology with impact, bringing real-world solutions to the people on the front lines — whether in crisis or recovery.

Key Stakeholders to Meet (Expected):

  • State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SESU)

  • EU Civil Protection Authorities

  • NATO-aligned civil defense representatives

  • International donors and public safety organizations
