Odd-Harald Hagen Joins Watchbird’s Advisory Board
Watchbird is proud to announce that Major General (ret.) Odd-Harald Hagen has joined the company’s Advisory Board. Hagen served in the Armed Forces from 1985 until 2024, concluding his career as Defence Attaché at Norway’s Embassy in Washington, D.C., with responsibility for the United States and Canada. Since retiring from the military, Hagen has been working in strategy and business development at Space Norway.

During his time in the Armed Forces, he led the Department of Defence Policy and Long-Term Planning in the Ministry of Defence, held key NATO roles including head of the NATO Army Armaments Group, and served on international operations with KFOR, ISAF, and NTM-Iraq.
Hagen holds an M.Sc. in International Security and Strategy from King’s College London, as well as having completed staff college in Sweden and the senior command course at the Norwegian Defence University College. In his new Advisory Board role, he will assist Watchbird in further developing the company’s strategic and operational direction.
