New Distributors, New Markets: Watchbird's Enforce Tac 2026 Takeaway

Watchbird's biggest win from Enforce Tac 2026 wasn't a lead, it was a network. In February, our team met with distributors, defence and law enforcement professionals, and security buyers from across Europe at the Nuremberg show. Several of those conversations have since turned into new distributor partnerships, opening the door for SAFEgaiter to reach markets and customers Watchbird couldn't get to on its own.

A proving ground, not just a showcase

SAFEgaiter has already been put through extensive testing with special forces units and in the lab. What made Enforce Tac stand out wasn't a new question to answer, it was hearing the same feedback echoed independently, in real time, by professionals from a completely different mix of operational environments across the defence, law enforcement and security sectors, all describing the same challenges with airborne particles, smoke, dust and other contaminants.

Enforce Tac wasn’t about proving SAFEgaiter works — our testing with special forces and in the lab already told us that. It was about finding the right partners to get it into more hands across Europe, and that’s exactly what came out of it.
— Madeleine Kjellevand, Sales and Operations Manager, Watchbird

Conversations that turned into partnerships

Watchbird went into Enforce Tac with a clear goal: connect with distributors and partners who could carry SAFEgaiter deeper into the European defence and security market. Those conversations didn't end when the expo ended. They continued in the weeks that followed and have grown into several new distributor partnerships and ongoing relationships that that can introduce SAFEgaiter to more markets and customers than Watchbird could reach alone.

What the field is telling us

Some of the most useful conversations at Enforce Tac weren't with distributors, they were in fact with end users and representatives from various branches of the armed forces and law enforcement. Describing exactly how airborne particles, smoke and dust affect them on the job. Those conversations exposed new use cases for SAFEgaiter that Watchbird hadn't previously treated as core to the product, and it's already shaping how we think about where SAFEgaiter fits in the field.

What's next

Enforce Tac 2026 leaves Watchbird with a stronger distributor network, validated demand, and a clearer picture of where SAFEgaiter can go next. If you're a distributor interested in bringing SAFEgaiter to your market — or an end user with feedback from the field — visit our contact page.
