Watchbird Code of Conduct

1. Purpose and Scope

This Code of Conduct defines the ethical principles that guide Watchbird’s operations and business relationships. It applies to all employees, management, contractors, distributors, and other partners acting on behalf of Watchbird.

Watchbird is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and professionalism. Our reputation and credibility depend on acting responsibly in all interactions with customers, authorities, suppliers, and partners. Everyone representing Watchbird is expected to understand and follow the principles described in this Code.

Our work is guided by three core values, which form the foundation of all Watchbird activities and decisions:

  • Honest – We act with integrity and transparency in all our activities. We communicate truthfully, take responsibility for our actions, and ensure that our products and claims reflect real performance.

  • Agile – We adapt quickly to changing operational needs and continuously improve our products and processes based on user feedback and real-world requirements.

  • Thorough – We approach our work with professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and reliability.

These values are not aspirational statements — they define how Watchbird operates in practice.

They guide how we develop our products, conduct testing, interact with partners, and represent the company in all contexts. All employees and partners are expected to act in alignment with these principles in their daily work.

2. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Watchbird conducts its business in accordance with applicable laws and regulations in all countries where we operate. Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements is fundamental to maintaining trust with customers, authorities, and partners.

Employees and partners must ensure that their actions comply with relevant legislation, including rules related to product certification, export controls, public procurement, anti-corruption, financial reporting, and data protection. If there is uncertainty regarding legal or regulatory requirements, guidance must be sought from management before proceeding.

3. Integrity in Defence and Public Procurement

Watchbird recognizes that defence and public sector procurement requires a particularly high level of integrity and transparency. Our employees and representatives must act in a manner that protects the impartiality of procurement processes and the trust placed in public institutions.

Watchbird will not engage in any practice intended to improperly influence procurement decisions, including offering or providing gifts, hospitality, travel, entertainment, or other benefits that could influence, or appear to influence, official decisions. All interactions with public authorities must be lawful, transparent, and able to withstand public scrutiny.

4. Product Safety and Quality

Watchbird is committed to delivering products that meet high standards of safety, quality, and reliability. All products must comply with applicable regulatory requirements, technical standards, and certification processes.

Testing, documentation, and product claims must be accurate and transparent. The company will not misrepresent product capabilities, performance, or certification status. Ensuring safe and reliable products is essential to protecting users and maintaining trust with customers and authorities.

5. Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption

Watchbird has zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, or any form of improper business practice.

Employees and partners must never offer, promise, request, or accept payments, gifts, or other advantages intended to obtain or retain business benefits. Particular care must be taken when dealing with public officials, as such interactions are subject to strict ethical and legal standards.

Business decisions must always be based on objective and legitimate criteria such as quality, price, and suitability.

6. Gifts, Hospitality and Benefits

Watchbird employees and representatives must exercise caution when giving or receiving gifts, hospitality, or other benefits in connection with business activities.

Gifts, travel, entertainment, or hospitality must never be offered or accepted if they could influence, or appear to influence, a business or procurement decision. As a general rule, Watchbird employees should avoid accepting personal gifts or benefits from business partners.

Any hospitality provided in connection with legitimate business activities must be modest, transparent, and consistent with applicable laws and professional standards.

7. Conflicts of Interest

Employees must avoid situations where personal interests could conflict with the interests of Watchbird. Conflicts of interest may arise when personal relationships, financial interests, or external activities influence business decisions.

Any potential or perceived conflict of interest must be disclosed to management so that appropriate measures can be taken to ensure transparency and fairness.

8. Respectful Workplace and Human Rights

Watchbird is committed to maintaining a professional, inclusive, and respectful working environment. All employees must treat colleagues, partners, and customers with dignity and respect.

The company does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or abusive behaviour. Employment decisions such as recruitment, promotion, and compensation are based on competence, experience, and performance.

Watchbird supports internationally recognized human rights and expects employees, suppliers, and partners to respect safe working conditions and ethical labor standards.

9. Protection of Information and Company Assets

Employees may have access to confidential business information and are responsible for protecting it from unauthorized disclosure.

Confidential information may include technical data, product development information, customer information, financial data, and other sensitive company information. Company equipment and systems must be used responsibly and only for legitimate business purposes.

10. Business Partners and Suppliers

Watchbird seeks to work with suppliers, distributors, and partners who share our commitment to ethical business conduct.

Partners are expected to comply with applicable laws and conduct their activities in a manner consistent with the principles described in this Code of Conduct. Watchbird reserves the right to terminate cooperation with partners who engage in illegal, unethical, or irresponsible conduct.

11. Reporting Concerns and Compliance

Employees and partners are encouraged to report suspected violations of this Code of Conduct or applicable laws. Reports should be directed to company management.

Watchbird will investigate reported concerns and take appropriate action when necessary. Individuals who report concerns in good faith will not be subject to retaliation.
